What do the colors mean?Six of the eighteen are spoken for. Cyan is a meeting, purple is something of your own, teal is a task, orange is a holiday, pink is a birthday and green is travel. A row carries one color and that color says what the thing is, not which calendar it arrived from.
Can I use my own colors?Yes, for a calendar of your own. Six of the eighteen belong to the six kinds and stay where they are, because a color that means two things means neither. The other twelve are free.
Can Sandhour make the meeting, not just show it?Yes. While you are typing an event, one tap attaches a real Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom meeting, made in your own account. Webex is coming later this year. You sign in to the provider on its own page and the request goes from your phone to them, with nothing of ours in the middle.
Where do my calendars come from?Three ways, all on one screen. Sign in on the provider's own page inside the app, pick up whatever your iPhone already has, or add a calendar link. Nobody signs in to the same account twice.
Can I change an event that came from one of my accounts?Yes. A calendar brought in is written, not only read. When the account itself says a calendar is read only, that is shown on the calendar, so you know before you try.
What does it cost?One purchase, 39.99. Thirty days of everything comes first, with no free tier and no locked rows, and after that one payment covers it. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.
What happens on day thirty one?Sandhour is paused, nothing is deleted. Every calendar and every event is exactly where it was, and your calendar accounts are untouched. One payment starts it again.
Do I need an account with you?No. There is no server of ours for an account to live on. You sign in to your own calendar provider, inside the app, on that provider's own page.
Where do tasks come from?From swach and Worlds Apart, the other dymn apps, and they go back there. Sandhour shows a task as a row in the day it belongs to. It is a calendar, not a to do app.
Can I turn holidays off?Settings, Holidays, which is a row per country. Turn a country on to see its holidays and observances in orange, and off to stop.
Can I stop it making noise at night?Settings, Quiet, which takes the hours and the days you want Sandhour to stay silent.
My week does not start on the day I want.Settings, the week. It holds the first day, the working week, and which days you count as the weekend. The Week tab then draws seven columns, five without the weekend, or three days.
Is there an iPad or a Mac version?iPhone and Mac are planned for October 2026, iPad for November 2026. Those are plans, not listings: nothing is on a store yet, and when a date moves we will say so here rather than let it pass quietly.
Is there an Android version?No, and none is planned. Sandhour is built on Apple's own calendar and its widgets, and an Android version would be a different app rather than a port.
