One look and you know. A meeting, your own time, a flight, somebody turning sixty one. Each has its own color, so the shape of your day reaches you before you read a word of it. And when you make one, it makes the call too.

Why this one
Not the calendar it arrived from. What it actually is.
Meetings are cyan. Your own time is purple. Travel is green. It stays that way on every screen, in every widget, on the lock screen. You learn it once and then you stop reading your calendar and start seeing it.
2026
39.99, and that is the end of it.
Year two is free. So is year five. No subscription, nothing to cancel, and no renewal email landing in January to remind you what you are paying for. The calendar you buy is the calendar you keep.
2026
Every calendar you have. Every kind of event in them.
Sign in once and the calendars you already keep show up grouped by account, each one on or off. Birthdays come from your contacts. Public holidays come with the country. Tasks arrive from swach and Worlds Apart and go back there. Tap a meeting and every way into it is one tap: Meet, Zoom, Teams, or the dial in number with its PIN already filled.
Wednesday 16 September · 09:30 to 10:30
One tap. The call is made, the link is in the event.
Every other calendar shows you a meeting somebody else set up. Type "Design review Thursday 10am", tap Zoom, and Sandhour makes a real Zoom in your own account and puts the link in the event before you have finished the sentence. Meet, Teams and Zoom at launch. Webex later this year. No copying a link out of a browser, no second app, and no account of ours in the middle: it is your sign in, on your phone.

The nine
Nine come set. Nine more are yours, for the calendars only you have. One color, one job: green is travel and nothing else, so green never quietly becomes a tick.
Today
One button at the top of every view opens it. Not the list again: today read as a question. What is happening this minute, what is waiting on you, and the rest grouped by who it involves rather than by the clock.
A card, and only when there is something to put in it. Inside half an hour it counts down; once it starts it says so and shows the minutes left. More than half an hour away and there is no card at all, so it is never furniture you scroll past.
A task you have not ticked, an invitation you have not answered. Answer it here. A thing appears in one group only and this one wins, so nothing is on the page twice.
With other people, or on your own. Two different kinds of hour that a clock mixes together. The last thing today sits at the bottom behind a rule, with how long until it.

Widgets
Small, medium and large on the Home Screen. All three accessories on the Lock Screen. Your day in color before you unlock the phone, and a task you can tick without opening the app.
And the icon moves for the same reasonColor arrives row by row as the week fills, the now line last. Night is its own drawing, and under forty eight pixels so is small: three wider cells instead of seven thin rows, because thin rows close up into a smudge.
Not out yet. See what is planned, and tell us what is missing: hello@sandhour.app
There is no account to make, because there is no server of ours to keep one on. Your calendars go straight between your iPhone and whoever already holds them. We are not in that line and we do not get a copy.
No advertising and no tracking. The privacy page says it at greater length and names what it cannot see.
